Being one of the future Guests of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair, Slovenia presents a new, redesigned and enlarged national stand in Hall 5.0.

Great Britain, Poland, Catalonia – the media provides us with daily news, which we would have never expected to emerge from the European realm until recently. How do critical, engaged poets as well as poets who have become personally involved in the situation involuntarily react to the goings-on and can they influence the course of events? Are projects, such as the Open Letter to Europe, written by acclaimed Belgian author Stefan Hertmans earlier this year, met with resonance and do European decision makers feel compelled by them in any way, shape, or form?
