All the Wrinkles of Love

  • Publisher: Mladika
  • 128 pages
  • Author: Marij Čuk
  • Original title: Alle Fugen der Liebe / Vse gube ljubezni

The leading theme is actually existential: one that questions the existence and impotence of man's deeper being in today's broken world. But Čuk is too much of a poet to be a philosopher. Therefore, he perceives and experiences the drama of modern human existence in a purely personal way, through life experience itself. It can be nature and the landscape, it can be society, especially the fate of his hard-tested Slovenian community, which he experiences in his own way, and last but not least, even first of all, it is love.
