The annual educational seminar is intended for the mentors of the project "Include and Activate!" who will implement the workshops of the project with members of the target groups.
The two-day training seminar includes content from the field of andragogy and non-formal adult education, with an emphasis on the motivational and educational characteristics of vulnerable groups involved in the project. Experts with extensive practical experience in the field of work with disadvantaged social groups will present the specifics of managing target groups and designing activities to work with them. Literary works and a selection of literature for literacy will be presented. In order to build the competencies of mentors in the implementation of different activities, the seminar will also highlight the psychological support of the mentor in the management of target groups and the ethical challenges of taking decisions in the management of activities. Special attention will be paid to techniques of non-violent communication, which will help mentors perform their work more easily.
The program "Include and Activate!" consists of different creative workshops, which mentors can further develop when working with target groups: a module of literature, creative writing, illustration, illustration and digital literacy in the field of e-books. Seminar for mentors covers all modules and tries to equip mentors with concrete tools for their further work with participants.
Lectures and workshops on the seminar are designed with the desire to make the most efficient exchange of knowledge and experience between lecturers and mentors. They are based on practical examples, group work and active participation of listeners.
