The Slovenian author Nataša Kramberger lives in Slovenia and in Berlin. The German translation of her novel Nebesa v robidah, titled Verfluchte Misteln (published by Verbrecher Verlag, translated by Liza Linde), has just been reprinted in an especially beautiful and environmentally friendly edition by the renowned establishment Büchergilde. Nataša Kramberger strives to live in harmony with nature in the northeastern part of Slovenia. She tackles the question of the humans’ relationship to nature in her book of essays Mauerpfeffer. Boštjan Videmšek is a multiple award-winning Slovenian journalist, also a war correspondent, who does not only stay in media centres but always follows events from the front line when it comes to the fight against injustice and the destruction of nature. The English translation of his book The Last Two has just been published by Rowman and Littlefield Publishers. The conversation will be held in English.
