Translation Seminar for Translators of Slovenian Literature into German, Ljubljana 13th – 16th August 2016
As part of the preparatory activities prior to the project "Slovenia – Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair", the Slovenian Book Agency will organize the first specialist translation seminar for translators of Slovenian literature into German. The two-day seminar is scheduled to take place between 13th and 16 August 2016 in Ljubljana and will be a precursor to the traditional Translation Seminar in Novo mesto.

December 2016: The first Slovenian-German translation workshop scheduled to take place as part of the Vice-Versa Programme, undertaken by the renowned German organisation Literarisches Coloqu

Press Release: Study Visit of German Publishers and Journalists
As part of the preparatory activities prior to the project "Slovenia – Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair", the Slovenian Book Agency hosted a second three-day study visit for German publishers and journalists between 9 and 11 June 2016. The eight distinguished guests were highly impressed by the visit, which predicts a rising interest in Slovenia and our literary endeavours.
