Frogs 2 is the much anticipated second installment of the cult debut from Dora Kaštrun's Frogs, which have been sold out in Slovenia in just a few months. The characters who take center stage, are the familiar faces of rowdy amphibians who are, by necessity, the quintessential jack of all trades – teachers, psychiatrists, gods … The second part of Frogs also feature the beloved but somewhat malevolent penguin Marko. The mysterious penguin makes his silent presence in the new episodes generously seasoned with a feisty kind of humor and a playfulness with words that will sometimes leave us speechless.

Dora Kaštrun

Dora Kaštrun (1994) attended art high school before enrolling in the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, where she studied animation in the Illustration Department. She exhibited her work in a number of group shows as well as three solo shows. As an illustrator, she works on a variety of commercial projects, designs and illustrates books and CD covers, and paints murals. She has always been interested in drawing as a way of telling stories, and in illustration, she is passionate about coming up with new ideas and solving visual problems, all while paying close attention to the harmonious relationship between picture and word.
