The short novel Whisper of the Invisible Sea, twelve tablets of lead is a dramatic story about one of the founders and leaders of the anti-fascist organization TIGR, Zorko Jelinčič. During the dark years of the fascist reign of terror and the Second World War, Zorko Jelinčič spent nine years in Italian prisons (Koper, Rome, San Gimignano, Civitavecchia) and in the area of confinement (Isernia). From these scenes of horror and terror, only a few words, fragments written on a sheet of paper have been preserved, which in the present book address us with the directness and poignancy of the truth. Page after page, the story of Zorko Jelinčič which was marked by extreme personal and historical trials, is revealed to the reader. His intimate confession is chanted by key, meaning-laden words associated with suffering, pain and rebellion.
